EBL Books Platform Maintenance July 23rd



To maintain the currency and security of ProQuest ebook platforms, the ProQuest EBL platform will be unavailable for approximately three hours beginning Saturday, July 23, 2016 due to scheduled maintenance. 

The EBL patron interfaces will not be available at this time:

Vancouver (PDT): Saturday July 23, 2016 from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

No Student Printing or Photocopying on Tuesday


The Blackboard Transact system will undergo an upgrade on Tuesday, June 28 between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm. 

Please be advised that neither printing nor photocopying will be available in the library or the computer labs. The self-serve PHIL stations (used to load money onto Campus Cards) will also be unavailable during this time. 

(All other Blackboard devices on campus will be available for retail purchases in the Bookstore, at all foodservice locations, for Baker House laundry, Athletics, and International Education.)

During the upgrade students can visit the:

Campus Card office, S1101, to add funds or to print assignments
CEP Library circulation desk to add funds or to print assignments
Abbotsford Library circulation desk to print assignments

New Chilliwack Library Pride Display




















In honour of Pride Month, UFV libary has launched a new display in the Chilliwack library. The Pride display features a timeline of key events in Canadian LGBTQ history and recognizes the recent tragedy in Orlando, Florida. All of the library materials in the display are available for check out. Stop by and find yourself some summer reading. Examples of titles on display:

New Indigenous Studies Portal (iPortal)

The Indigenous Studies Portal (iPortal) is a database of full-text electronic resources such as books, articles, theses and documents as well as digitized materials such as photographs, archival resources, maps, etc. focusing primarily on First Nations and Aboriginals of Canada with a secondary focus on North American materials and beyond. iPortal is developed by the University of Saskatchewan Library.
